The New Orleans Pelicans will be hosting a special presentation for Dylan, the EBRPSS Elementary Student of the Year at EBR Night with the Pelicans on Saturday, March 26, 2016.  Our very own Hannah B. will also be there singing the National Anthem. Both Dylan and Hannah will have the opportunity to be on the court for a special presentation just before the game as well as some other events to celebrate their great service to our community. We hope you can make it to celebrate our student of the year and to see Hannah B. sing the National Anthem!

In 2014, a pair of mated Bald Eagles chose the most idyllic of nest sites within the United States’ National Capital (Washington, DC), nestled high in a Tulip Poplar tree amongst the Azalea Collection at the U.S. National Arboretum, which is operated by the United States Department of Agriculture. This is the first Bald Eagle pair to nest in this location since 1947. Egg #1 began the hatching process on Wednesday March 16th around 7:30 pm! We will be on egg-watch alert for Egg #2 this weekend.

The "A" Bus has just arrived and then departed from campus. The kids are happy to head home! The bus departed at 4:15 pm. 

Mrs. Savant's class has been learning about maps in social studies. The students made their own map of the classroom as well as a map of the playground. The students also made a map online and practiced directional words with a Dr. Seuss game! To top it off, a parent came in to read a book by Dr. Seuss!

Our next School Improvement Team Meeting will be Thursday, March 17th at 4pm in the library. All are welcome and we hope to see you there.

THE NEW ORLEANS PELICANS WILL BE HOSTING AN EBR SCHOOLS NIGHT OUT WITH THE PELICANS ON SATURDAY, MARCH 26, 2016.  They will be honoring our Students of the Year, Teachers of the Year, Counselors of the Year, and Principals of the Year at the game.   The Pelicans have special discounted tickets available for the students, employees and families of EBR.
