BRCVPA would like to support the Great Baton Rouge Food Bank. VOTE FOR YOUR FAVORITE: LOVE LOUISIANA CATS COMMUNITY ART CONTEST - BRCVPA STUDENT ARTISTS!11/19/2020  Fourth and fifth grade students at BRCVPA have created artwork showing ways that they "Love Louisiana" and the environment that we live in.
Now it us up to you, our community, to vote on your favorite pieces of artwork! Please click on the link below, look at all student artwork and choose the three pieces that you think best represent the theme "Love Louisiana". After reading Giant Squid Searching for a Sea Monster and learning about main idea and supporting details, student in Mrs. Malensek’s class identified the main ideas of the text and used the text to identify 3 supporting details. We then create an art project that depicts a giant squid and also explain and describe what the text was all about!
In P.E., first and second graders are working on their hand-eye coordination through different hand patterns, hand techniques and extreme focus.
Our 5th Graders learned about site-specific dances in dance class. Site specific dances are choreographed pieces that occur outside of a traditional theatre or dance space. They challenge the choreographer to to look at, listen to, feel, and think about the space in which the dance is performed. They did an amazing job! Thanks, Ms. Ruble! Tuesday—Taco Beef or Chicken with Hard or Soft Shell Wednesday – Hamburger Pattie with or without cheese on Bun Thursday –Turkey Roast Cornbread Dressing and Gravy (Thanksgiving Dinner) Friday – Turkey Ham or Deli Turkey on Bun Uh oh! Students in Ms. Gaubert's class got locked in math class and had to use their multiplication skills to escape! Check out these super smart students working hard to get out!
