Fourth and fifth grade students at BRCVPA have created artwork showing ways that they "Love Louisiana" and the environment that we live in.
Now it us up to you, our community, to vote on your favorite pieces of artwork!

After reading Giant Squid Searching for a Sea Monster and learning about main idea and supporting details, student in Mrs. Malensek’s class identified the main ideas of the text and used the text to identify 3 supporting details. We then create an art project that depicts a giant squid and also explain and describe what the text was all about!
In P.E., first and second graders are working on their hand-eye coordination through different hand patterns, hand techniques and extreme focus.
Our 5th Graders learned about site-specific dances in dance class. Site specific dances are choreographed pieces that occur outside of a traditional theatre or dance space. They challenge the choreographer to to look at, listen to, feel, and think about the space in which the dance is performed. They did an amazing job! Thanks, Ms. Ruble!
