The students in BRCVPA's fourth grade class wrote, composed, and directed this opera production for the year 2019. Every student participated in some way and they are proud to present "The Door."
"The Door" takes the audience on an adventure through time with four campers trying to solve a friend's mysterious disappearance. They learn the importance of working together to solve problems and find the value of friendship.
Check out the fun the students had behind the scenes, planning this amazing performance.
The student crews for the production, as well as their teacher sponsor, are listed below.
Costume and Makeup (Yglesias)
Sound and Lighting (de Silva)
Scenic Design and Run (Adkinson)
Composition and Orchestra (Fuller)
Chorus Dancers (Ruble)
We made it to the LAST school day of the DECADE!! The entire BRCVPA family wore pajamas to relax all day and get ready for winter break. Check out all the fun pajamas everyone had on!
Tacky Season is upon us! Students and teachers alike pulled out all the stops for Tacky Day 2019. We also celebrated the holidays with some fun and food at our classroom parties. Take a look at some of the holiday get-ups and excitement from the parties.
To celebrate the last day of school in 2019, you can wear your Pajamas to school tomorrow! That's right! All students and staff can dress in your most comfortable and coziest sleepwear and head to school (you should probably leave the slippers at home though...).
And tomorrow is the LAST SCHOOL DAY OF THE YEAR!!! It's early dismissal so make sure to be here for 12:45 pm!!
THERE IS NO AFTERCARE ON THURSDAY!!!!
On December 21, our very own Drop the Beat club will perform at Perkins Road Community Park during the Let It Sneaux event! BRCVPA will take the stage at 4:15, followed by many other performances from local schools and dance groups. You can read about this event in THIS POST from earlier this month.
Don't forget to dress in your most tacky outfit tomorrow! Whether it's socks with sandals or a Christmas tree with ornaments on your sweater, tomorrow is YOUR DAY! Be your tackiest. We can't wait to see!
Don't forget! Tomorrow is also an early dismissal day at 12:45 pm!!!
