Lincoln had some excellent adventures this summer traveling to Ireland with his mom and grandma! He saw a lot of the country in two weeks! Took a Viking cruise on the river Shannon. Visited Trinity College in Dublin and saw portions of The Book of Kells, a 12th Century Illuminated Manuscript as well as the 14 century harp that became the symbol of Ireland. He toured several old castles and churches, as well as the oldest church in Dublin. He traveled to the wild Atlantic Coast and the Cliffs of Mohr. The final journey was North to the Giants Causeway, where we learned about the legend of a famous giant named Finn McCool, then headed to Belfast and a Game of Thrones studio tour - Lincoln got to sit on the iron throne and end with day with the best ice cream ever from the Chocolate Hotel. It’s been a great summer! Looking forward to getting back and starting a new adventure as a third grader.
