Mrs. Kershaw’s first grade students visited with the Department of Wildlife and Fisheries “expert”, Karla Allen, as a closing celebration of their first research project. To help them learn the parts of a fish and what they’re used for, students labeled a diagram as Mrs. Kershaw “modeled” the fish parts! Afterwards, they were able to examine 5 different species of fish. A very special thanks to Mrs. Allen and the DWF for catching the fish for us to examine!
