Heal your life counseling has started a social group for students that is free to all participants. This group will tackle themes of life including communication, relationships, decision making, and emotional regulation.

Ages 6-10 will meet from 9:00-9:50 am.
Ages 11-13 will meet from 10:00-10:50 am.

Parent resources are also available to guardians of group participants. Participants can sign up on-site or at www.healyourlifelouisiana.com/group-therapy.

All meetings will be held on Saturdays at 4605 Bluebonnet Blvd, Suite B, Baton Rouge, LA 70809.

spring Pictures!

This year, spring pictures will be held on Wednesday February 2nd.

Only students who buy a package will have their picture taken. Envelopes went home earlier this week.
Picture envelopes will be given directly to the photographer.
Please send the correct amount of cash, a check, or money order on, or before, February 2nd.
- You may also pay online at www.SpencerStudios-BR.com
- Online orders MUST BE COMPLETED BY 2:00 pm on February 1st!!!
- Checks and money orders should be made payable to Spencer Studios.
There will be no picture retakes and late orders will not be accepted.
Tentative Schedule: Students will be called one grade-level at a time.
- 8:30-8:40 PreK
- 8:40-8:55 Kindergarten
- 8:55-9:05 1st Grade
- 9:05-9:15 2nd Grade
- 9:15-9:25 3rd Grade
- 9:25-9:35 4th Grade
- 9:35-9:45 5th Grade

ONLY STUDENTS WHO HAVE PREPAID MAY WEAR FREE DRESS!
The theme is "Rustic Countryside". Casual Denim and Springy colors work best!

Are you a college student with 48+ credit hours looking for a part-time job? Are you a parent or relative of a BRCVPA student with some extra time on your hands?

Do you know someone who fits either description? Please let them know that BRCVPA is hiring part-time paras! Part-time paras at BRCVPA push in to the classrooms and provide one on one and/or small group interventions for our students. Our school thrives when we have at least one part-time para per grade-level.

VIRTUAL LEAP NIGHT FOR 3RD, 4TH, AND 5TH GRADE PARENTS - TOMORROW!

BRCVPA will host parent informational sessions about the upcoming LEAP test for 3rd, 4th, and 5th Grade parents tomorrow at 5:15 p.m. The meetings will be streamed live, but will be recording them for parents who are not able to log in. See you tomorrow!

FALLING INTO SPACE IN 3RD GRADE!

After learning about space all semester, Ms. Whaley's 3rd graders worked on an art project where they created the illusion that they were falling back into outer space. This is an art technique called foreshortening.

Finger Food friday!

It's time for Finger Food Friday! This month is sponsored by 2nd grade families!

Find your child’s grade level assigned day below.
Prepare or pick up some tasty finger foods (great suggestions: canned drinks, fruit and veggie trays, hors d’oeurves like drumettes, meatballs, pigs in a blanket, individual sweet treats like cookies or cupcakes, individual packages of snacks like chips or granola bars, sandwich trays, or anything else delicious).
PLEASE only send DISPOSABLE serving dishes! There will be no dishwashing crew and there is nowhere to store so much stuff.
Sign up to help with your child’s class during lunch if possible. Drop your goodies off during carpool or bring it to the school office at your convenience on your assigned day.
Enjoy having made the wonderful BRCVPA staff happy!

Frozen Treat Friday

Beginning next Friday, January 14, BRCVPA will kick off Frozen Treat Friday for 2022!

Students can pay $2.00 for a frozen treat after lunch. This can be prepaid, or students can pay the day of the event.
