![]() It's that time of year again. Unfortunately, we all know someone who has been affected by cancer. BRCVPA is doing our part by collecting dollar bills for the American Cancer Society February 29 - March 4. The grade level that raises the most money will receive a pizza party. The individual class that raises the most money will receive a cookie from Jimmy John's. Any amount that you can give is greatly appreciated! If you prefer to write a check, please make it out to: American Cancer Society. If you want to come celebrate how much we have raised, Relay for Life is on Saturday, April 23rd at 4pm at Pennington. The American Cancer Society saves lives and creates more birthdays by helping people stay well, by helping people get well, by finding cures and by fighting back. Thanks to our amazing parents for your patience in carpool this morning! Strings camp drop-off, buses, and regular carpool, oh my!
We appreciate all of the smiling faces and understanding! Have a wonderful Friday! Join Our Schools...Our Excellence for a series of workshops designed to help parents bridge the gap between school and home. The North Baton Rouge Parent Academy will teach parents tangible and intangible ways to ensure their child is receiving the excellent education they deserve through hands on activities and engaging breakout sessions. The first workshop will be held on Saturday, February 27th at 11am at Star Hill Church. And be sure to bring your scholars for a STEM workshop with STEMup BR and a tour of the EBRPL Book Mobile!
Our students at BRCVPA performed several acts for our 2016 Variety Show, and it was a huge success! All the students put in so much hard work and it showed. A special thank you to Ms. Russell, Ms. Miller, Ms. Wells, and Ms. de Silva for organizing this event. Thank you, Carroccio family for sending us these wonderful pictures!!
