Our annual Kindergarten and 5th Grade Mardi Gras parade is TOMORROW at 2:00 p.m.! We are looking forward to letting the good times roll in the SUNSHINE! Parents and families are invited to come and join in the fun! Students who have earned the Manners of the Heart Incentive for February are invited to wear Mardi Gras themed free dress. Please park in the Catholic Life Center Parking lot upon arrival. The gate will be unlocked at 1:30, so please plan to arrive at 1:30 or later. We hope to see you all tomorrow! Mrs. de Silva was dancing, singing and playing with other music teachers this past Saturday at an engaging workshop taught by Rachel Aupperle. Mrs. Aupperle actually taught Mrs. de Silva’s Level II ORFF movement class three summers ago! At the workshop they explored a variety of genres from Taiko (Japanese) drumming, to a fun NEW way to use rhythm sticks and the music of the Trans Siberian Orchestra!
