Some of the animals are having trouble speaking, so the wise old owl recommends visiting the old lady because "She'll have a wish to make them all well." The little old lady means well, but it appears she has a little trouble remembering which wish to use- the cat ends up clucking, the dog quacks and the mouse says "cock-a-doodle-doo". This continues a few times until everything *almost* returns back to normal.
Check out some of the highlights from our magnificent kindergarten mini-production. A special thank you to Ms. Elston for writing the script, the arts staff for bringing the script to life, and the incredible kiddos for doing a wonderful job and bringing smiles to all our hearts!
Ms Gautreau taught children how to make a marble print with shaving cream. I'm sure some of these will be in the Art Show, so we hope you'll come check out their work on April 10th at 6:00 pm. Everyone is invited to attend!
Pre-k tried a rain dance to send away the rain and to bring back the color run. Even Ms. James got in on the fun!
Due to the heavy rain and thunderstorm forecast for Louisiana Wednesday and Thursday, we have decided to postpone the Rainbow Run until the week of May 7-11th. We will set an exact date closer to the event so we can pick the most ideal weather for a picnic and color run! We know you are disappointed, and we are too! But we do have some good news! The arts staff have planned some fun events during arts block including dancing, karaoke, and lip sync battles! The rain should clear up before the Curbside fundraiser Thursday night! Well, at least we are prepared!
Before our spring picnic and rainbow run on March 29th, we will have our kindergarten mini-production based on the book, "Whoops!" by Suzi Moore. In the story, animals get all mixed up and start making each other's sounds. We hope to see you there!
Parents of incoming kindergarteners and new families to BRCVPA for next school year are encouraged to attend! Tomorrow, students can bring $2.00 to purchase an ice cream or popsicle treat from the BRCVPA Ice Cream freezer!
Please send the money in a sealed envelope to their homeroom teacher with "Tasty Tuesday" written on the front. Thank you! We are asking that you fill out, sign, and return the booklet. There is no financial obligation, and the school gets money for every envelope returned!
Students who bring back the booklet get to pick a prize from the prize bucket, and are entered to win a minion robot! DEADLINE TO TURN IN PACKETS IS WEDNESDAY, MARCH 28TH. Monday, 3/26

Please send the money in a sealed envelope to their homeroom teacher with "Tasty Tuesday" written on the front. Thank you!
