Light It Up Blue is observed worldwide every year on April 2nd in support of understanding and acceptance for people with Autism. The fourth graders didn't miss an opportunity to wear their blue in support of their incredible classmate!
We love you Amaris!💙💙💙 We are incredibly proud of our Kindergarten students for their Kindergarten Mini-Production, of This School Will Not Be Fun, last Thursday. The students did a phenomenal job! Major thanks to the Arts Faculty for another fabulous show, and thank you to classroom teachers and parents for your support and your attendance; we had a packed house!
This Thursday, April 18th is an action-packed day at BRCVPA! We will start the day being entertained by our 3rd - 5th Grade Performance Groups at the Spring Concert, which begins at 9:00 a.m. All grade levels will attend the performance as an audience.
Following the concert, at 11:00, iCare will be here to speak to parents about keeping our kids safe on the internet. At 11:30, our April MOH event, the Spring Picnic, will begin! We will have free play, music, and family-friendly yoga! Families are invited to join in on the fun. Students will be provided a picnic lunch by the cafeteria. Family guests are welcome to bring their own lunch, picnic blanket, chairs, etc. We are closely watching the weather, and will make a decision about rescheduling the picnic by Wednesday. The Spring Concert and Parent Meeting will occur this Thursday, April 18th, regardless of weather. If thunderstorms prevent us from having the picnic this week, it will be rescheduled for Thursday, May 9th. Supply kits for 2019-2020 are available now from 1st Day Supplies! Ordering supply kits through 1st Day allows us to bring quality supplies at reasonable prices into the classroom. Teachers get the exact supplies they request, and you save time and money. When you order your supply kits through 1st Day, the cost includes replenishment throughout the year, as well as items the school purchases in bulk.
It's not too early to check this off of your Back=to-School list! Ms. Berry's class took advantage of the beautiful weather we had outside! They took their goods and services review outside and enjoyed some time in the bright Louisiana sunshine! Students worked in teams to hunt eggs, review the content, and collaboratively engage in quality discussions with their classmates.
