Grandparents, You are invited to eat a healthy brown-bag lunch with your grandchild and visit their classroom on Friday, September 11, 2015. When you arrive, please sign-in in the front office, and then meet your grandchild in the cafeteria at their regularly scheduled lunchtime. Classes will either eat lunch outside, or in their classrooms. After lunch, you are welcome to stay for a classroom visit to see all the wonderful things your grandchild is doing at school. The school environment is one of several settings that can influence children’s food choices and eating habits. Therefore, please do not bring any outside food or drinks with restaurant, fast food, or popular labels visible. By ensuring that food offerings are consistent with an overall healthy diet, we can continue to model healthy eating behaviors for your grandchildren. We hope you will be able to join us as we celebrate you on this very special day! Ms. Carley's class used the iPad's to learn how to search the online catalog during library today! Vice was Ms. Savant's first student of the week. He took home Mrs. Spotsy and wrote about their weekend together. :-)
Ms. Campbell's class had some special visitors: Mrs. Jennifer, Mrs. Suzette and Mrs. Julie. They came to explain some special tools that our classmates will be using this year. We were able to touch and explore with a walker and braces! We are having so much fun learning about what makes each of us "special." BRCVPA would like to send out a huge THANK YOU to the Brown family. They spent two weekends outfitting our school garden with a new sprinkler system.
