Yearbook pictures will be taken next Thursday, September 8th! Please be on the lookout for this envelope to come home in your child's booksack. Every student takes a yearbook photo, regardless of whether or not they order a package. You can send money in this envelope, or you can pay online at www.SpencerStudios-BR.com (see details below). Online payments must be completed no later than 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 7th.

If you miss the deadline and want to pay the day-of, you can send it in a sealed envelope or ziploc bag tomorrow, labeled with your child's name.

We hope you will join us tonight at 5:30 p.m. for our first PTO Meeting of the year! All students whose parents attend tonight are welcome to wear free dress tomorrow! This summer, Heidi was able to enjoy some magical and out of this world places. She got her own wand and was sorted into Hufflepuff at the Wizarding World in Orlando. She also got to spend time at two different NASA facilities. She met astronaut Jose Hernandez at the Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral. Later, she visited NASA Stennis Space Center
Second Grader David spent some time this summer at the Tiger Rock Martial Arts World Championship in Huntsville, AL. He received a bronze medal in sparring during the event. Way to be awesome, David!
Fifth Grader Jermani attended the Theatre Baton Rouge’s Dramatic Play camp and participated as a Narrator in Cinderella. She has also completed the summer reading challenge. Way to go, Jermani!
Terrance and Teyana enjoyed some summer days at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp in Mississippi. Looks like lots of fun was had soaking up all of summer break!
