Thursday, Mrs. Morrissey's homeroom class explored pathways and various types of movement around the auditorium to music in PE with Ms. Wells. They first heard both verbal and instrumental cues in the song to tell them how they were to move around the room, then had to remember which musical cues went with the movements. They had an absolute BLAST, and that was just the warm-up!
Afterwards, they got to use the launchers with for the first time, and worked on their LOOK, REACH, GRAB to practice catching.

In efforts to best help our BRCVPA Families affected by the flooding, we have formed the BRCVPA Heart Club Family Needs Tree. This tree operates much like church-based giving trees do around the holidays. Here's how it works:
We understand that some families interested in giving are unable to come into the office to pull a card, so we have two convenient options for you: 1. You can shop with the click of a button from our BRCVPA Familiy Needs Amazon Wishlist. Items will ship to the school and be distributed as needed, ***CLICK HERE TO VIEW THE AMAZON WISHLIST*** 2. You can download and print this form, and send it to school in your child's folder. We will send a card home with your child the following day. Many thanks to the amazing BRCVPA moms, dads, teachers, and staff who made this happen. We have a special family at this school, and we are all proud to be a part of it!
Students in Ms. Adkinson's 4th grade class explored density this week. They had some water, salt, and and an egg. Their job was to make the egg float! Looks like our little future scientists figured it out!
Fourth grade students have been working hard creating and preparing for the annual Opera. They have come up with a company name, theme, and have already begun writing the script and composing music. These are some fun pictures of the job fair. Enjoy! Tuesday, September 27th is picture day! Students will take individual yearbook pictures.
Students may wear free dress! All students with A's & B's in conduct, and NO write-ups for the month of September, will be given a "Team Spirit Free Dress Day" ticket from their teacher. These students will be allowed to wear their favorite jersey, team t-shirt, or cheerleader uniform on Friday, September 30th.
