 Jump, Jive, and Giggle (Grade 4/5) will perform at this year's Downtown Festival of Lights. Come on out and watch this high energy performance at the Repentance stage at 6:55 this Friday night.
All Performing groups will travel to Southdowns Elementary this Friday morning, December 1.
Performing Groups: Band Broadway Kids Choristers Dance Troupe Jump, Jive, and Giggle Orchestra Recorder and Percussion Attire: Students in performing groups should wear their Club t-shirt (yellow) and solid black pants to school. Students wishing to purchase a Smoothie for Tasty Tuesday on December 5th should send their money to school in a sealed, labeled envelope.
All Smoothie King money is due no later than Monday, December 4th at noon.  Congratulations to this year’s EBRPSS Holiday Greeting Card design winner Gabriel and his art teacher Mr. Ates. They will be recognized at the December 14th School Board Meeting, and Gabriel will be presented with a framed 11x17 print of his artwork. We are so proud of them!  We hope you can join us this Wednesday night at Moo-Yah on Lee Drive for our BRCVPA Fall Family Fun Night. A portion of the proceeds will be donated back to our school. Be sure to say you are with BRCVPA! 320 Lee Drive Wednesday, November 29th 5:00 - 9:00 p.m.  Dear Parents of 3rd – 5th Grade Students, You are invited to eat a healthy Holiday lunch with your child Friday, December 8th. When you arrive, please sign-in at the table in front of the auditorium, and wait in the amphitheater. You can join your child in the cafeteria at their special lunchtime. After lunch, you are welcome to stay for a classroom visit to see all the wonderful things your child is doing at school. The luncheon takes place on our Ugly Holiday Sweater day as well, so feel free to come in your ugliest (or loveliest – we won’t judge) holiday wear! Reservations are required and must be made before the end of the day Friday, December 1st. The cost of the lunch is $4.00 per adult. All student lunches are provided at no cost. Freshly prepared lunches from home are always welcome, but please do not bring fast food. You may park in our school parking lot along the driveway or in the in the bus area, but please do not block any cars. The Catholic Life parking lot will also be available that day, and the gate will be unlocked during lunch. We hope you will be able to join us as we celebrate this very special day! Lunch Schedule: *3rd Grade – 11:00 a.m. *4th Grade – 11:40 a.m. * 5th Grade -12:10 pm * Please arrive early. Lunchtimes may change slightly due to serving and space availability.  The book fair was a HUGE success! Many thanks to all of the families who participated and the volunteers who came out to help Mrs. Dafoe. We raised $5,800 for the school library!! That's amazing! The funds will be used to purchase more books for our avid readers. The funds will also be used to purchase additional robotics and STEM based resources to challenge our engineering minds.
This year we raffled off 4 prize packs of 10 books each, and the winners are: Ka'Rynn H. Clare A. Christian L. Tyler T. Runners up will receive a poster and a bag of slime: Marek D Griffin M Simra S Collin O Meghan M Emily P Hashim U. Miles J. Tayla F. Addie N. Congratulations, Carmen M. She won 1st place in the regional fire prevention poster contest. Carmen and her family were invited to the 2017 Fire Prevention Banquet where she was recognized by Mayor Sharon Weston-Broome..  As a culminating activity to our Social Studies unit, Ms. Campbell’s and Ms. LeBlanc’s classes made Graham Old Flags. They couldn’t decide if the stripes for the colonies or the stars for the states tasted better. Mrs. Kershaw’s first grade students visited with the Department of Wildlife and Fisheries “expert”, Karla Allen, as a closing celebration of their first research project. To help them learn the parts of a fish and what they’re used for, students labeled a diagram as Mrs. Kershaw “modeled” the fish parts! Afterwards, they were able to examine 5 different species of fish. A very special thanks to Mrs. Allen and the DWF for catching the fish for us to examine!
