At the beginning of the year, BRCVPA students were chosen to participate in a photo shoot with members of the EBR Executive Leadership Team. You can also see it up close in the October edition of 225 Magazine, but here it is!
BRCVPA Students collaborated with Sky Artist, Daniel Dancer to "Get their sky-sight on" and create this beautiful representation of George Rodrigue's Blue Dog using their bodies as drops of paint. Sky-Sight is the ability to see through the eyes of all beings and through the eyes of future generations. Students learned that although they may be small, they can be a part of something much greater and impact change in their world. The image is only part of the story, click the video below to see how this amazing project came together! This project would not have been possible without:
Our Annual BRCVPA Veterans Day Program and 1st Grade Mini-Production was this morning, and we are so proud of our students and teachers for doing such an amazing job. We were thrilled to have a very special guest speaker, our very own Ms. Paula Wolfe! Our first graders adapted the story from "Even Superheroes Have Bad Days" by Shelly Becker to honor the real superheroes, our Veterans. BRCVPA thanks every Veteran for their service to our great country. Please click the video to honor our BRCVPA Family Veterans, and to watch the program that follows! (note: Mini-Production starts at 16:22 following a little delay) Tomorrow is our Veteran's Day Program and First Grade Mini Production. Join us by bringing $1 and wearing Red, White, and Blue (jeans)! Bring the money to your homeroom teacher in the morning. All proceeds will be donated to our local VA.
Tune in to our program at 9 am tomorrow morning on our YouTube Channel. The 5th grade production of Peter Pan Jr. is quickly approaching! You can purchase a t-shirt to commemorate this year's performance. Please turn in this order form by Friday November 19, 2021. If you purchase a shirt, it will be considered a spirit shirt and students can wear it to school as part of the uniform. Students in other grade levels who purchase a t-shirt will be offered the VIP experience. They will have special seating, a meet and greet with the actors, and autographs! An order form will be going home with your child either today or tomorrow. Or, you can download the order form at the button below. Please print it, complete it, and send it back to school with your payment in a clearly labeled envelope. Your child can give it to his or her homeroom teacher. The Showtimes are as follows:
