This is your reminder that tomorrow is an Early Dismissal Day and there is NO EXTENDED DAY. That means that every child MUST be picked up by 1:10 on Friday.  BRCVPA's Winter Concert 2022 will take place Friday, December 16th at 9:15 am! This is a highly anticipated event and we can't wait to show you everything our performers have been working on! The performance groups are:

 The 5th grade production had its run last week and it did not disappoint! We are so very proud of our 5th graders and the hard work they put in to make this show a success. Thank you to the arts staff for the countless hours spent preparing our students to be superstars. A special thank you goes out to the Pre-K Students for helping to add some adorability to our production. As a reminder, you can catch replays of the show on our YouTube Channel.  Throughout the semester our publicity team worked tirelessly to document all the work the students put into the production. Check out the slideshows they put together (all by themselves!) to showcase the work these past four months.
This week we have some special days: Monday
Please join your fellow 3rd grade classmates at a meetup on Wednesday December 14th, starting at 1:30. Bring a non-perishable item that will be donated to the BR Food bank!  Students from Miss Gilmore's ELA class concluded their lesson pioneers by sampling the foods that pioneers would've enjoyed on the Oregon Trail.  We are so proud to announce that Mrs. Ruble is EBR's Feature Teacher! We are so proud of Mrs. Ruble and appreciate all the hard work she puts in for our BRCVPA students and dancers. Congratulations Mrs. Ruble! We love you! The BRCVPA Dance Troupe will perform at EBR's District-wide Ballet titled "Creme de la Rouge" on December 7th at 9:30 and 11:00am and December 8th at 7pm at Brec's Independence Park Theatre.  Come out to the Downtown Festival of Lights tomorrow afternoon/night! The festival will take place on Friday, December 2nd, from 4-8 pm. BRCVPA 5th Grade Students will performing 4 songs from next week's production of Elf Jr The Musical at 4:25 on the Community Stage on North Street! If you have never been to the Festival of Lights, you are in for a treat! This is a great family event in Baton Rouge. Don't miss the fireworks!!!!  |
