Destination Imagination

Congratulations to the newly formed BRCVPA Destination Imagination Teams! Interested students and parents of 3rd-5th graders attended an interest meeting and then students underwent an audition process. Fourteen outstanding tinkerers and actors were selected to represent BRCVPA. These students will spend the next 5 months immersed in STEAM Challenges as they prepare to compete against the best and brightest of our state in their age group. One team will focus on building a structure than can withstand the impact of falling weights, and the other team will explore the scientific principals behind amusement park attractions and create an attraction that operates in an unlikely location.
