BRCVPA Family-Submitted Limericks Below:
Julien S. (Pre-K)
Once I saw a pretty cat.
Who liked to sit on a mat.
Her tail hit a can,
and it rolled to a man,
who picked it up and gave it to a bat.
Ava T. (Kindergarten)
Ava is a girl who likes to have fun.
She wanted to play in the sun.
She went to the beach,
But the sand burned her feet.
So she thought to herself, "I'll just run."
Wesley H. (1st Grade)
I have a Beyblade that’s blue.
It is all shiny and new.
It fights and it spins,
You battle with friends.
Can I battle with you?
Ky'Janae Z (1st Grade)
Hey what can I say,
It's almost St. Patty's Day
Everything is green,
Yet a 4-leaf clover can't be seen.
I wonder if it's hiding in hay.
Jose' M (2nd Grade)
There was a red snake on my back,
Who told me a beautiful fact.
"Hiss, hiss, hiss!" he did say,
And then slithered away,
To get both of us a nice snack.
Rivers B (2nd Grade)
There was a girl named Rivers who woke up late today
When she looked up, she saw the sky was gray
A flock of gray ducks
Had run out of their lucks
And had no sunshiny place to play.
Vera H (4th Grade)
I always have Dance Troupe on Monday.
I look forward to it every Sunday.
We tendu and plie’
While Ms. Ruble chasses.
Monday is always a fun day.
