Girls on the Run

Our Girls on the Run team has been training and preparing for their upcoming 5k. Everyone is invited to come out and participate. in the race, or just cheer the team along! 

The race will be Sunday, November 19th, at the Pennington Biomedical Research Center. This is an incredible organization that does so much for young girls! We hope to see you all there! 

CAN I SIGN UP TO PARTICIPATE ON EVENT MORNING?
Yes! Late registration is offered on Friday at Packet Pickup and an hour before the 5k begins. The fee is $30 payable by cash, check or credit card.
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
Men, women and children of all ages are invited to participate.
IS THE GIRLS ON THE RUN 5K FOR 'GIRLS ONLY'?
No. The event is open to the public and we encourage men, women and children of all ages to attend and participate.
IS THE GIRLS ON THE RUN 5K TIMED?
The Girls on the Run 5k is an untimed event. However, there will be a timing clock at the finish line.
ARE THERE AID STATIONS AVAILABLE?
Water will be available at the start. Three Aid stations will be available on the course. Each participant should plan to take no more than two servings of water at each Aid Station. Runners are also encouraged to bring water bottles along on the course. Additional water and snacks will be available at the finish line.
CAN I BRING MY DOG OR PET?
For safety, all furry friends are not allowed on the course or at the event, so please leave all pets at home on 5k day!
