This morning we received information alerting us to the fact that the bus cards mailed to parents on Thursday, August 4, 2016 contained information imported from a previous school year data file, and thus are inaccurate for most of our students. The district will be sending out revised bus cards to parents on Monday, August 8, however, most of these cards will not arrive in time to provide accurate information for parents prior to the start of school Wednesday morning.
In an effort to address this and make sure that all parents have access to up-to-date, accurate busing information, the district is taking the following steps:
1. A link has been posted on district website and social media where parents will be able to select their home address and obtain busing information. (Note: This information will only be accurate for students attending school within their home attendance zone).
2. A robocall and email will be sent out to all parents with child-specific busing information. (Note: This information will be accurate for ALL students.)
3. BRCVPA will provide accurate bus information to ALL families at Open House. Families are also encouraged to contact the school if they are not able to attend Open House.
4. Click on the following link http://www.brcvpa.com/contact-us.html
and type "Bus Information, please" in the comment box and your bus information will be sent you to electronically.
Again, new bus cards are being sent out on Monday, August 8th. We apologize for any inconvenience, but we are here to help! We are looking forward to a positive and productive first day of the 2016-17 school year.
