Many thanks to everyone who helped our teams reach Global Finals. We made new friends from all over the world... a girl from Maryland, a boy from Singapore, a group from Australia... Our world and our STEAM knowledge grew exponentially this week, watching other teams and trying new things. Just before we left, BRCVPA Destination Imagination was honored in the Louisiana Senate by Senate Resolution 251, authored by Senator Claitor. The resolution recognizes the creativity, critical thinking, team building, problem solving, risk taking, project management, and perseverance instilled in students through DI. Many thanks to Lenore Heavey, parent of Clare A., who was inspired by our DI teams. We are indeed honored and grateful for the recognition, and we are already planning for next year!
