Sock Hop - This Friday!

Just a reminder that our Manners of the Heart Celebration for March is going to be a 50's-themed Sock Hop this Friday in the gym! The students are encouraged to dress in 50's attire (poodle skirts, jeans, white shirts with leather jackets, etc).

Pre-K, K, 1st, and 2nd 12:00 - 12:20
3rd, 4th, & 5th Grade 12:45 - 1:10

We have gotten lots of questions from the students about what a sock hop is, what the 50's were like, and if it is ok to wear only socks and no shoes. Ha!

Mrs. Sandifer has introduced the 50's dances in her classroom, and we will have videos of popular 50's dances playing along with the music. Just to be clear: all students must wear shoes for safety reasons! :)

We are looking forward to a great dance Friday, and to seeing the kids all dressed up in their 50's-themed attire!
