 Volunteers In Public Schools is currently enlisting the assistance of community volunteers to assist during this year's ‘Stuff The Bus’, scheduled for July 18th in the Wal-Mart parking lot located at 3132 College Drive, Baton Rouge, LA 70808. The event will begin at 5:30 am and end at approximately 6:00 pm.
Additional volunteers will be needed during the ‘UnStuff The Bus’ event located at Westdale Heights Academic Magnet. Volunteers will sort, pack, and ready the donated supplies for distribution to EBR schools. We anticipate it will take approximately four days to complete the sorting and packing, depending on the amount of donated supplies. Volunteers may work anytime between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. on each unpacking day (July 19th - 24th). Volunteers may drop in to work unannounced, or you may contact Judy Bethly at (225) 226-4700.
