UNIFORM POLICY

East Baton Rouge Parish School Board has an approved, mandatory policy for all elementary school students, including PK and K, to use a "standard uniform".  The policy will be enforced as it is written to ensure fairness and consistency in decision making for all students at BRCVPA. 

• Navy blue bottoms not more than 5" above the knee. 
• Burgundy shirts with a collar. 
• Only navy blue, burgundy, or BRCVPA sweaters and sweatshirts may be worn inside the classroom, at lunch, and during assemblies.  
• During the winter, students may wear any existing jacket outside during arrival/dismissal, recess, and while transitioning. 
• Closed-toed shoes/sneakers, no sandals or flip flops. 
• Belts must be worn on bottoms with belt loops; shirts must be tucked in. 
• PK students are required to wear navy tops and bottoms. 
• Colorful socks are permitted. 
• Leggings must be a SOLID color. 
• Stud earrings only. No hoops or dangling earrings are allowed. 

***BRCVPA spirit t-shirts or sweatshirts may be worn any day of the week, both inside and outside of the classroom. Parents may purchase the BRCVPA t-shirts and sweatshirts in the front office throughout the school year. Sweatshirt order forms will be sent home when the weather begins to cool off.
